3-Day Mestia Winter Adventure

Day 1: Tbilisi to Mestia – Arrival and Exploration

  • Private Departure from Tbilisi (or Kutaisi):

    • Begin your scenic drive through Georgia’s breathtaking mountains to reach Mestia.

    • Optional stop in Zugdidi to visit the Dadiani Palace Museum, showcasing the history of the region.

  • Arrival in Mestia:

    • Check into your cozy guesthouse or hotel with stunning mountain views.

    • Take an evening stroll through Mestia, visiting its charming town square and iconic Svan towers.

    • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, trying traditional Svanetian dishes like kubdari (meat-filled bread) and tashmijabi (cheese and potato dish).

Day 2: Hatsvali Ski Resort

  • Hatsvali Ski Resort:

    • Spend the day skiing or snowboarding at this picturesque resort with stunning views of Mount Ushba and the surrounding peaks.

    • Choose from a variety of slopes, catering to all skill levels.

    • Enjoy a coffee break at the panoramic restaurant at the top of the lift.

  • Lunch:

    • Dine at the ski resort or back in Mestia, savoring warm, hearty meals.

  • Optional Activity:

    • Explore the Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography, showcasing ancient artifacts and treasures unique to the region.

  • Evening:

    • Relax at your accommodation or warm up with mulled wine by the fireplace.

Day 3: Tetnuldi Ski Resort & Optional Ski Tour

  • Tetnuldi Ski Resort:

    • Head to Tetnuldi, one of Georgia’s premier ski resorts, offering longer slopes and panoramic alpine views.

    • Spend the day skiing or snowboarding on pristine, snow-covered slopes.

  • Optional Ski Tour (For Advanced Skiers):

    • Embark on a guided backcountry ski tour, exploring untouched powder and remote mountain terrains in Svaneti.

    • Safety equipment and guidance provided.

  • Lunch at Tetnuldi:

    • Refuel at the resort with a delicious local meal.

  • Return to Mestia:

    • Relax after an adventurous day and enjoy a farewell dinner in Mestia.
